4th of July Crafts

I have some crafts that I made for the 4th of July parade. It is a little late but that is okay. You probably could take one look and figure how to make these but I am still going to show you.

PINWHEEL

DSCN4926[1]

Stack paper or just have one. Cut them into squares.

DSCN4927[1]

Cut slits in the corners. Don’t cut all the way down.

DSCN4928[1]

Cut a whole in the middle and in every other corner.

DSCN4929[1]

Stick a brad in every whole, then stick it through the middle and fold it over.

DSCN4930[1]

Cut a piece of paper the height you want the stick to be. Tape it into a loop. Roll it all the way up.

DSCN4931[1]

Tape it so that it is a tube.

DSCN4932[1]

Slip it off and connect it to the pinwheel.

DSCN4933[1]

You now should have a pinwheel!

Make records for your dolls!

Today’s 70s activity is records for you dolls. Where I am right now I don’t have many supplies so they are simple but make them as complex as you want.

DSCN4660[1]

Cut black paper into squares.

DSCN4661[1]

Stack the paper and cut circles out of them.

DSCN4662[1]

Stick a pencil though the middle for the hole.

Color lines on the records with brown crayons.

DSCN4666[1]

And give them to your dolls!
