Playing outside

The dolls decided that they want to go explore outside 70s style. Here is how to make a few of the supplies and then I will show you what they do.

Walkey Talky.

In the 70s they didn’t have cell phones so they would have played with these instead.

Make a two small boxes or stack several pieces of cardboard and cover them with duck tape. Slide a toothpick in for the antenna.

Glue on water bottle lids.

Put black paper circles on for buttons and you are done.

Skateboard.

Cut two pieces of cardboard to look like a skate bored.

Stack them and cover with duck tape.

Cut circles to be the wheels, cover them with duck tape, and glue them on with cardboard next to them tho help them stay up.

Time to play!

We were together at the beginning but we split up to explore. DSCN4694[1]

 

Mckenna and I sat down in the grass.

But soon she jumped up to use the bar.

We swing together on a big swing.

I sat down but Mckenna was in the distance, doing cartwheels.

I pulled out my walky talky so that I could talk to the other girls.

Mckenna was up in the tree

But soon she came down and we talked.

As soon as we left we saw pretty flowers and just had to check them out.

And then we stopped in a rock garden.

We leaned against a fence to enjoy the scenery.

I pulled out a book and Joy was knitting and talking. Soon I joined in though and we decided to meet because we were all talking.

Mckenna boarded the skateboard.

While we played Basketball.

Mckenna joined in and we all played until it was time to go in.
